There are weddings, and then there are Lebanese weddings. I've had the great fortune to fall upon some amazing people as a photographer/filmmaker, and without a doubt the Lebanese know how to throw a party. Their sense of style, music, dancing and choice of locations is only outdone by their devotion to friendship and family.

So it was that Zeina & Mustapha asked me to join their wedding celebrations in Barcelona, having seen me capture the big day of their friends Rheam and Naël in Mykonos the year before. Of course I jumped at the opportunity. A welcome dinner on Montjuic hill overlooking the city, followed the next day by an unforgettable ceremony and reception at Can Ribas de Montbui an hour outside Barcelona. I hope the experience shows in this small sample of images.

Second shooting with me was Veronica Hansen, the wonderful Texan soul who made the lush light of Barcelona her home.
